ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The SAVVY Program is a prevention program which equips and empowers youth with the knowledge and tools to keep themselves and their friends safe from sexual exploitation and sex trafficking.

The SAVVY Program offers a 10-week prevention group for female youth aged 12-18 using the My Life My Choice Prevention Curriculum.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

Variety of interactive and fun educational material and activities suited to all learning styles, including:

Ice Breakers
Group Activities
Storytelling

Discussions
Journalling & Reflection

Each group is co-facilitated by two trained and certified facilitators and includes:

A Clinician
A Survivor of Sex Trafficking

Transportation to and from group can be arranged. Groups meet for 90 minutes each week for 10 weeks.

Participants receive a weekly honorarium for attending.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Female Identifying, non-binary, gender non-conforming youth
13-15 years old (sessions will be offered to youth of similar age groups)

Those at risk of sexual exploitation/sex trafficking or those interested in learning more about how to protect themselves and their friends
