Are you a survivor of sexual violence? Do you work with survivors? Sexual violence can include domestic violence of a sexual nature, trafficking, exploitation, sexual harassment or assault, and more.
1 in 3 women will experience sexual harassment in their lifetime. However, only 1 in 10 women will report this. Join law students, legal professionals, and advocates as they provide information about myths of sexual harassment/assault, how to take action against an offender and what avenues for redress are available, BC laws about sexual assault and sexual harassment at school or work, and how these laws affect marginalized people ie queer people, immigrants, refugees
Q/A time will be available, but feel free to send any confidential questions ahead of time. Light buffet lunch will be served.
