CSEC Training for Educators
4 December @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pmFree
About this Event
This training is rooted in the understanding of providing service to Commercially Sexually Exploited Children, and will be provided from a Trauma Responsive Approach with an emphasis on “whole child” .
This workshop will cover how educators and school administration can positively impact, influence, and increase healing within the school setting for CSEC students. We will cover interpersonal communication, systems shifts to support highly victimized students; empowerment tools; as well as how to educate parents/guardians and other staff about being trauma responsive to help create a space not only for these students to learn and grow but to truly, positively impact healing for these students.
Workshop led by Ami Davis.
